Blackfeet Native American writer Stephen Graham Jones will talk about “Scary Stories” during an appearance at the 十大彩票网投平台 on Monday, Oct. 29.

Jones, a genre-bending author who spans the worlds of experimental fiction, horror, crime and more, will speak at 7 p.m. in the outdoor amphitheater of the Student Center. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be followed by a reception and 签书.

The critically acclaimed author is often celebrated for applying literary stylings to a variety of speculative genres. He has written more than 50 books, including “Mongrels,” the coming-of-age story about a boy on the fringes of trying to find himself with a dark, mysterious family heritage.

Jones, a graduate of Texas Tech University, is a professor of English at the University 科罗拉多的博尔德分校. He is the recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts fellowship in fiction, a Texas Institute of Letters Award in fiction and the Independent Publishers 多元文化小说奖.
